A GROUP of Normandy veterans held a memorial ceremony at Llandudno’s War Memorial commemorating the 75th anniversary of D Day.
The poignant event rekindled memories of the parts they played in the Battle for Normandy.
The group, drawn from all over the United Kingdom, were staying at the Blind Veterans Centre in Queens Road, and were joined by some of the blind veterans and were supported by the Royal British Legion and were lead by a piper.
While at the centre the Normandy veterans enjoyed a full programme of events including a visit to RAF Valley.
