A NATIONAL title has gone the way of regional sporting figures.
The North Wales Knights' U-18s wheelchair basketball team were crowned British Champions recently.
They beat close rivals Lancaster Spinners in a tight encounter, eventually winning 60-57 at the Lord Taverners National League junior championships.
This was held in Sheffield.
The achievement is an incredible one for a young squad who, only two years ago, became British champions at U-15s level.
Their training, hard work and determination has certainly paid off and put the future of Welsh wheelchair basketball firmly on the map.
