BANGOR City have brought two more foreign faces to the club this week.

The troubled Citizens’ announced the arrivals of Azizou Zoumbare and Francesco Leghissa to bolster their ranks, although it is still undetermined which division they will actually be playin in next term after their appeal hearing was adjourned.

Physical striker Zoumbare hails from from Burkina Faso and arrives at the EuroGold Stadium after leaving DJK Don Bosco in Germany.

Director of football Max Leghissa, said: “I'm ecstatic to have secured the signing of Azizou as I knew that there were a number of teams after his signature.

"He is a player who I've been close to signing on a few occasions before and I'll be watching with a keen eye to see how he develops in Wales."

Leghissa, aged 19, is the son of the club's director of football and spent last season at Maltese Premier League side Mosta.

He has also played in France, spending four years at Rennes' academy, as well as in the youth team for Lignano Sabbiadoro in Italy.

"Francesco is someone who I worked with at Mosta last season," said club chairman Stephen Vaughan Jr.

"He was more around the U19 setup but went out on loan and was scoring goals in the lower leagues of Maltese football.

"He's raw but certainly knows where the goal is and has a great attitude and desire to improve."

Both transfers are subject to approval from the Football Association of Wales, who will meet once again with Citizens’ officials regarding their 42-point deduction on Monday, June 24.
