ANOTHER two players from the continent have signed for Bangor City.

The Citizens’ added two more youngsters from European soil for the upcoming campaign, with Nicolas Delvecchio and Eugenio Dalia the latest to sign on the dotted line.

Delvecchio is the son of former Italian international Marco and joins from Serie D side Igea Virtus.

The 21-year-old operates in midfield and director of football Max Leghissa is expecting big things providing he adjusts to the rigours of Welsh football.

He said: “Nicolas is a talented midfield player who can unlock defences with his vision and quality on the ball.

“Again, like all the foreign players who have signed, he will need to adapt quickly to the Welsh system.

“But he is a player we are very lucky to have. In my time at Udinese, I became close to his father and that has helped a lot in making this signing.”

Dalia is a versatile player that can play centre-back, right-back or as a deep-lying midfielder, and he impressive Leghissa and chairman Stephen Vaughan Jnr during a one-week trial period at the EuroGold Stadium.

Vaughan Jnr, added: “He’s a tactically astute player who we can’t wait to get going with.

“During his trial period, he impressed from the first day. His attitude is first-class, we can see that he’s a winner, he passes the ball well and is very strong.

“I think he will fit in to Welsh football seamlessly.”

Both transfers are subject to approval from the Football Association of Wales.
