THERE will be a bouncy castle, traditional fairground games and even exotic pets during a school's summer fair.

St Joseph's School in Colwyn Bay will host their annual event on Saturday, July 6 between 12pm and 4pm.

The fair is held in partnership with St Joseph's Church and proceeds raised will be shared equally.

The church will be using their half to help refurbish the parish community centre on Brackley Avenue, which is used by St Johns Ambulance, Bright Lights youth group, Little Lights Baby and Toddler group, Rhos on Sea Savoyards, self defence classes and a ukelele club.

The fair will also feature the Commando X Fit Assault Course, hook a duck, splat the rat, coconut shy, cake stalls, and workshops by the Immortals Thai boxing gym and Colwyn Bay Rugby Club.

Students from Bangor University will be bringing some of their exotic pets for a meet and greet, and Faerial Performances will be putting on workshops.

A spokesperson for the school said: "We've had donations and sponsorship from a number of local businesses."

There will be a grand raffle with more than 40 prizes.

Spiderman will also make an appearance.

The event, on Brackley Avenue, is free.
