MORE than 300 women stepped out under the light of the moon for a charity 10k walk.

St David's Hospice Moonlight Memories Walk was held on Saturday, June 22.

Wearing tutus, glow stick and bunny ears, fundraisers walked the streets of Llandudno.

At halfway, the walk stopped in the hospice’s memories garden and walkers had the opportunity to write a message of remembrance for their loved ones.

Rachel Yule and Donna James from Llandudno were walking in memory of their nanna/mum.

Donna said: "Although mum wasn't in the hospice for long, we needed the care at the time and her time spent in the hospice was such a nice way for her to spend her last hours.”

This was the third Moonlight Memories Walk. It is hoped that the event will raise more than £10,000.

Rhian Jacobs, hospice events co-ordinator, said: "I want to say a massive thank you to all the ladies who took part in the event. They all did fabulous and should be extremely proud.

"A big thank you to our volunteers and marshals who supported the event, it would not have been possible without them."
