PRESTATYN Town will begin their FAW Tier 2 North League title push on home soil.

The Seasiders’ start their campaign against Guilsfield to formally kick off the second-tier campaign on August 16, before they make the trip to newly promoted Corwen in another Friday night fixture on August 23.

This will be followed by a clash against Gresford Athletic at the Motion Finance Stadium on August 27, with Neil Gibson’s side set for a coastal derby clash at promotion rivals Rhyl on their travels to close out their first month of competitive action.

September sees Town take on Colwyn Bay, Conwy Borough, Buckley Town, Porthmadog and Bangor City in what promises to be a critical month in terms of their overall objectives, and they open their festive fixtures with a trip to Gresford.

Another derby contest against the Lilywhites is sure to attract a large crowd on December 28, and Gibson’s side start 2020 with a tricky looking trip to Craig Hogg’s Bay outfit on New Year’s Day.

The crucial run-in at the business end of the season begins on April 11 with a home encounter against Ruthin Town, with a long trek to Llanfair United scheduled for April 18.

They have home field advantage for their final league fixture of the season on April 25 to close out the campaign, which Gibson and his side hope will end with a return to the JD Welsh Premier League.
