PENMAENMAWR Sailing Club hAS held its annual Open Day.
The club opened its door on Saturday the July 6 to non-members and thrill seekers of all ages to experience the fun of sailing.
Commodore Gerry Frobisher, said: “We enjoyed a full day of sailing with water based fun for all the family. Club members provided supervised sailing and refreshments throughout the day.
“Members and non-members, some from as far as Penygroes and Warrington, took part or just watched the activities during the day with volunteers helping to launch and land the various craft. The warm and breezy weather was a bonus and the sea conditions really made the day”.
The sailing club launched eight different craft including Picos, a Wayfarer and a catamaran as well as offering patrol boat rides.
