The festival is being arranged by new promotions company K-Fest Promotions Ltd, whose aim is solely to promote the seaside town of the amazing, purpose-built Events Arena.

A spokesperson for K Fest Promotions said: "We are hoping to attract about 10,000 people per day at the venue.

"We are also hoping to bring this festival to Rhyl each year on the same dates. It is the first weekend of August, which falls nicely for people coming to North Wales on holiday during the school summer holidays.

"We believe this will be great for the town and businesses in the area with such a large crowd potentially heading to Rhyl over the three days.

"We hold this town and area close to our hearts and believe that investing our private money into this venture will enhance the profile of Rhyl together with doing something exciting and good for Rhyl, North Wales and the wider community."

Each of the dates are standalone events, with Earlybird Tickets for K1 on Friday, August 2 £16.75 for adults and £8.50 for children, and Earlybird tickets for Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 starting at £22.25 with VIP upgrades available.
