Llandudno Coastguard and Conwy lifeboat were involved as a man was rescued from the River Conwy on Saturday afternoon.
Llandudno Coastguard tweeted "Paged at 1737 along with @ConwyLifeboat to a person in the water in the River Conwy.
The casualty was recovered by a passing dinghy and brought ashore at the lifeboat station where he was treated by us and the RNLI Crew."
The man was taken to hospital where he is understood to be in a serious but stable condition.
