THE National Eisteddfod is looking for two families to come and enjoy the opening concert at this year’s festival in Conwy County.

Y Tylwyth is a magical family show, suitable for children aged 8 and up and delves into local fairy tales and folklore, with a wonderful modern twist.

An original show written by new Archdruid, Myrddin ap Dafydd, and top Welsh folk stars, Gwyneth Glyn and Myrddin ap Dafydd, Y Tylwyth sees the Eisteddfod venture into the world of contemporary circus for the first time, teaming up with Pontio Bangor and Irish Contemporary Circus troupe, Fidget Feet.

It's summer, and Jac of the Ropes and a strange clan of acrobats have landed in the meadow. It's May too in the heart of Elen, daughter of the mansion. But clouds are gathering over the young lovers' path, and as light is shed on the legends, dark characters step into the circle...

The story is a love story but as in any good story the path to true love is never easy.

The festival is looking for two families willing to be filmed arriving at the concert and then telling us what they thought of the show at the end. This will then be used to promote Saturday night’s concert and will be released via the National Eisteddfod’s social media channels on Saturday morning.

If you and your family would like to get involved, please email gwyb@eisteddfod.org.uk before 4.30pm today (Wednesday, July 31).

The two winning families will then be contacted at random, and will be contacted before the end of today.

Please ensure that you clearly mark your email as 'Y Tylwyth Family Filming' and include a contact telephone number.
