SIX tiny adorable Meerkats have been born at the Welsh Mountain Zoo.
The sextuplet of Meerkats are four weeks old. Zoo keepers at the Colwyn Bay site say the 'mob' are gaining weight and developing as they would have hoped.
The cute animals have been named after lakes and rivers from their native Southern Africa - Oponomo, Boteti, Ngami, Luvuvhu, Cuando and Vaal.
Peter Litherland, animal collection manager of the Welsh Mountain Zoo, said: “We’re pleased to say the entire family, including mum, are doing incredibly well and are now taking their first steps outside the enclosure and learning more about their surroundings and new home."
The sex of the animals is undetermined at this young age.
Peter added: "Our wonderful Meerkats are always a joy to watch but particularly so when our infants join the gang."
