LLANDUDNO is set to be graced with an appearance from ubiquitous posh comic Jack Whitehall this autumn.

One of the pre-eminent comedians on the British circuit today, Whitehall will appear at Venue Cymru as part of a limited run of intimate Work in Progress shows ahead of his 2019/2020 Stood Up tour.

One of just nine locations selected for his warm-up dates, Llandudno comedy lovers have a unique opportunity to witness a top comedian's joke writing process as he tries out new material for the new arena tour.

No doubt familiar from his numerous tv stints, including the BAFTA award winning A League Of Their Own, acting roles in the BBC's Bad Education and Channel 4's Fresh Meat as well as stand up showcases Stand Up For The Week and Live At The Apollo.

He is perhaps best know for incorporating his father Michael into his act and travels, with the comic pair teaming up for Netflix show Travels with my Father and BBC chat show Backchat.

In addition, Jack also filmed Training Days for Google in 2018, where he travelled the world to interview international football stars - the series was released in the lead up to the 2018 World Cup on his own YouTube channel.

Back on the stage and without a safety net, the stand up comic will test his latest act against the dreaded audience 'laser beams' before hitting the road, giving fans an incredibly opportunity to interact with one of their favourite comics.

A comedian who is firmly on the road to becoming a global megastar, this show is not to be missed.

Jack Whitehall will show a Work in Progress at Venue Cymru on Tuesday, November 5 Nov at 7:30 pm.

Tickets are £32.50 and go on sale on Friday, August 30 at 10am, available from venuecymru.co.uk or by calling the box office on 01492 872000.
