CONWY’s 700 year old honey fair is expected to bring a buzz to the town
This will be 30th year the event has been organised by Conwy Beekeepers. It will be held on Friday September 13 between 9am and 4pm in Lancaster Square and the High Street which will be closed to traffic all day.
More than 20 honey plant, crafts and farmers market stalls have already booked for the event.
Peter McFadden of Conwy’s Beekeepers said: "This year's honey fair is a landmark for local beekeepers and it has become a national event. People come from far and wide to buy a year's supply of Welsh honey. Some buy a jar from every beekeeper. It's our favourite day of the year.”
