ST DAVID’s Hospice has made a call for volunteers to work in its charity shops across Conwy Gwynedd and Anglesey.

The Llandudno based hospice depends largely upon the generosity of the public to fund the support it giving end of life care. It costs more than £3 million a year to fund the charity.

Lydia Higson, Craig y Don shop team leader said: “By volunteering, not only will you help raise valuable funds for Hospice, but you will also build new friendships, learn new skills and have great fun at the same time!

“You don’t need any retail experience, however, we are always happy to avail of existing skills if you have these.

A spokesperson for the hospice said: “Giving up a little bit of your time to support St David’s Hospice can be very rewarding. It doesn’t matter how much time you have to offer, but by contributing a morning or afternoon each week, you would make a real difference to the lives of local people living with advanced illnesses and those in need of end of life care.
