A MAN has been airlifted to Stoke Hospital after an incident involving a knife in Conwy.
The incident happened on Friday, September 6 on the A470 Llanrwst Road in Maenan. This followed a fight between two people near Llanrwst.
North Wales Police were called to the incident following reports of a man being armed with a knife.
A spokesperson for the force said: "A man has been taken to hospital with injuries and another man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding. The road has re-opened. Thanks for your patience."
A spokesperson for Welsh Ambulance said: “We were called on Friday, September 6 at approximately 12.07 pm to reports of a fight between two people near Llanrwst.
"We responded with two emergency ambulances and one ambulance officer and we were supported by the Wales Air Ambulance.
"One patient was transported by road ambulance to Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan and one patient was transported by air ambulance to Stoke Hospital.”
