FIFTEEN people will appear in court this morning charged with 'drug trafficking' offences after a series of dawn raids.
The individuals were charged following a day of warrants made by Police in North Wales, Merseyside and Dumfries, Scotland.
On Friday evening, following a series of interviews and consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, 12 men and three women suspected of being involved in the County Lines drug operation, have been charged with Drug Trafficking Offences.
Two of the men have also been charged with Conspiracy to Commit Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH).
They will all appear before court this morning (Saturday) where a remand in custody will be sought.
Edward White, Keith Furmedge, Patricia Massingham and Dave Rawling from Merseyside will appear at Mold Magistrates Court along with Toni Stagg, Lisa Tinson, Peter Powell and James Michael Hughes from North Wales.
Jack Jones, Colin Jones and Steven Dooley from Merseyside will appear at Llandudno Magistrates Court, as will Anthony Fahy and Leon Langford from North Wales and Richard Anderson from Scotland.
The arrests were made in a bid to disrupt crack cocaine and heroin supplies flooding into North Wales.
They come following a series of simultaneous dawn raids by North Wales Police, Merseyside Police and Police Scotland carried out at 7.15am on Thursday morning as part of Operation Tide.
All those arrested have been questioned at police stations across the region for various offences including conspiracy to supply controlled drugs and money laundering.
