A SPELLBINDING series of opera performances will delight audiences in Llandudno a Junction all the way from New York.
Tickets are available now to catch the first six transmissions live from the The Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York City's opera stage at Cineworld Llandudno as part of the world renowned venue's Live in HD season.
The season will begin on Saturday, October 12 at 5.55pm with as Met Music director Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts Franco Zeffirelli’s celebrated production of Turandot, which stars Christine Goerke in the title role of the icy Chinese princess who has renounced all men.

This will be followed by on Saturday 26 with the timeless tale of a innocent country girl's journey to celebrated courtesan and destitute prisoner in Jules Massenet's Manon and Puccini's Madama Butterfly on Saturday, November 9, the story of a devoted geisha who gives everything for the American naval officer.

On Saturday 23, the Met Premiere of Philip Glass's Akhnaten, and opera featuring the Egyptian pharaoh who attempted to inspire his people to adopt a new religion.

In the new year, opera lovers can also enjoy productions of Alban Berg's Wozzeck for the first time in HD on Saturday, January 11 and the Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess returns to the Met for the first time since 1990 on Saturday, February 1.
