ONE person was taken to hospital following a crash at the Little Orme in Llandudno on Monday.

Emergency services were called to Colwyn Road just before 3.40pm after the incident involving a Suzuki 4x4 and a Volvo estate car.

North Wales Police shut the road and the Welsh Ambulance Service (WAS) sent two crews and one rapid response vehicle to the scene.

A passerby said one of the vehicles was "on its side in the road".

A WAS spokesperson said: “We were called at approximately 3.38pm to reports of a road traffic collision in Craigside, Llandudno.

"We responded with two emergency ambulances and one rapid response vehicle. One patient was transported to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd Hospital.”
