MORE than 200 ladies walked, ran, trotted, jogged, sauntered and ambled five kilometres along Llandudno promenade in the Fizzy Fun Run.

The bubbly mini marathon, on Friday September 6, was organised by Network She and Bella the Prosecco Van to raise funds to support women and girls in sport.

The ladies started the run from Dylan’s Restaurant, with their first fizz stop at Llandudno Bay Hotel, thence on to the Imperial Hotel, before making their way up to the Kings Head pub for even more bubbles before returning to the sea front for the final fizz stop at St. George’s Hotel and the dash to the finish line outside Dylan’s Restaurant. To top it off they then partied in the restaurant.

Ruth Lloyd Williams said: “This is the third year we’ve organised this event and each year it just gets better and better. The event is sold out weeks in advance and we have a waiting list of women wanting to take part. The laughter could be heard throughout the streets of Llandudno and the after party this year has been our best one yet.”
