HAVE you been affected by the roadworks on the A55 at Junction 23 at Llanddulas?

The repairs, which require single lane closures between Junction 23 at Llandullas and the Rainbow Bridge on both sides, will be underway 24 hours a day for up to five weeks.

This morning, Saturday, September 14, travel times through the roadwords have been estimated to be 36 minutes heading West and 29 minutes heading East.

A 40mph speed restriction will be in place through the contraflow system while work is carried out.

The roadworks have caused considerable queuing, in some cases as far back as Colwyn Bay.

In addition some drivers have tried to use a rat run through Old Colwyn and this in turn has caused traffic jams.
