POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Colwyn Bay on Saturday night.
North Wales Police said its central roads policing unit is investigating the incident, which happened near St Paul's Church on the town high street.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision between a single vehicle and a pedestrian.
"The incident occurred on Abergele Road junction with Rhiw Road at about 7.50pm.
"PC Williams of the Central Roads Policing Unit is appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact police with any information they may have."
The Welsh Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
