THE Yog Shop in Conwy has closed its doors for the foreseeable future.

In a statement on social media a spokesperson for the specialist yogurt shop said: “We would like to thank all our followers and customers for showing concern regarding the Yog Shop.

“For now, we have had to close the Yog Shop for the foreseeable future. We are sorry for any disappointment caused.

“But don’t be too disheartened, we are still passionate about Yog. We are looking forward to the future and seeing where the Yog Shop brand can be taken in the future. Keep following us for future developments.”

The Yog Shop had a number of excellent reviews on the internet and a number of customers recorded on social media their regret at the announcement.

One reviewer wrote: "Fantastic little gem of a place, absolutely delicious frozen yoghurts with a wonderful range of toppings." Another stated: "Excellent frozen yogurts and toppings, and always very friendly and chatty.
