A GIRL is having her long hair cut short to raise money for Hope House.
Evie Bannister will also be donating her hair to the Little Princess Trust.
The eight-year-old girl from Old Colwyn will have her long locks cut on December 7.
Evie's mum Lisa said: "She heard about the young people who have lost their hair and she said 'that is really sad mum when I have got a lot of it [hair]'.
"She also wanted to raise some money."
Earlier this year, Evie's sister Ruby made a Rudolph cake and raised £60 Hope House, so she wanted to follow in her footsteps.
"She is quite excited ahead of the hair cut," Lisa added, who is co-owner of Caprice hair salon in Old Colwyn.
"Her hair is down to her bottom.
"She also said it will grow back and 'that it won't be so knotted for you mum after swimming'."
Anyone able to donate can visit Caprice hair and beauty salon or telephone 01492 515130.
