A LLANDUDNO house will be lit up over Christmas to raise funds for Mind, the mental health charity.
Daniel Evans, who lives in Kings Road, will be switching on the lights at his home on Saturday November 30 at 5pm, and is hoping many Llandudno residents will come along to see the spectacle and make a contribution.
Daniel said: “This year I’m lighting up my house for the Aberconwy Mind charity. I’ve chosen this charity because I suffer from depression myself and the charity has helped me so it’s my turn to help them.
“I started lighting my home last year in a small way but this year I wanted it to be on a bigger scale this year.” He added that visitors can make their contributions to the charity in the collection box he will have outside his home.
Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. It campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. The charity states it won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.
