A woman breached a court order by calling the police to report that her carer was stealing money from her and not tidying up around the house.
Magistrates in Llandudno heard that in 2017 Samantha Jane Smith was made subject of a Criminal Behaviour Order prohibiting her from ringing the police except in a genuine emergency.
Prosecutor James Neary said that between November 1 and 8 Smith, of Abergele Road, Old Colwyn, dialled 101 – the non-emergency line – to make allegations against her carer.
Smith, who appeared in court in a wheelchair, admitted breaching the order but her solicitor Nia Dawson said she hadn’t realised that the prohibition included use of the 101 line.
After making the first call, she said, Smith had merely rung to give police an update.
Smith was fined £80 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £32 surcharge.
