ALICIA Elizabeth Edwards, from Colwyn Bay, has been awarded the Bay of Colwyn scholarship at Bangor University.
The three year scholarship, worth £1,500, is awarded annually by the Colwyn Bay town council. Cllr Neil Bastow, Mayor of Colwyn Bay, presented the cheque for the scholarship on behalf of the town council at a ceremony held in Bangor. Alicia, who is a former pupil of Ysgol y Creuddyn, is studying criminology,
