LLANDUDNO Royal Naval Association(RNA) has been awarded a medal by a Royal Canadian Legion branch.
The Collingwood Royal Canadian Legion Branch in Ontario is responsible for the RNA receiving the John McCrae Medal.
Llandudno RNA sends foreign stamps each year to the Canadian branch which are then given to special needs students to educate them about geography, organisational skills and improve motor skills.
In return these students visit retirement and nursing homes, serve tea and cakes to veterans and their families and write Christmas Cards to Canadian military personnel serving overseas.
