A BILINGUAL concert held at Horeb Methodist church, Colwyn Bay, raised more than £1,400 for St David's and Ty Gobaith Hospices.
Supported by the Rotary Club of Rhos on Sea, the evening last week was conducted by Dilwyn Price with Côr Alaw.
Forty children from Bod Alaw School also supported the evening along with the very talented local soloist Elan Fflur Hughes.
The Mayor of Colwyn, Cllr. Neil Bastow also attended with representatives of the Hospices. Methodist Minister the Rev. This concert has been held annually since 2008 and in that time has raised more £17,000 for charity.
A spokesman for the Church commented: "All who came supported the evening with astounding generosity to help the hospices maintain their excellent work.”
