A LOCAL club has been doing its bit for those in need this Christmas.
Over the past couple of month’s Queens Park Scooter Club together with the support of the local community have been collecting items to donate to the Heddfan Unit at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
Last weekend the club went out and about to donate the items to the hospital.
A spokesman for the club said: "The generosity of club members and community support was outstanding and the staff at the unit were in awe of the sheer amount of donations we delivered.
"This will make a world of difference to the patients who arrive at the unit with limited supplies and gives them a great sense of support knowing people are thinking of them.
"Also thank you to Kings Mills Pub and Caia Park Hub for agreeing to be drop off points for all donations that were received.
"We will endeavour to keep this as an ongoing collection, so if anyone has anything they would like to donate please feel free to drop it at the Caia Park Hub."
