THERE has been a busy festive spell for a school choir.
The choir from St Brigid’s School, in Denbigh, performed at the opening event for the Denbigh Christmas fair recently.
A total of 27 pupils, from both the primary and secondary schools under music teachers Mrs Davies and Mrs Roberts, braved the freezing weather and sang a series of carols outside Denbigh Town Hall, to the delight of all those present.
This was the start of a busy weekend for the choir, with the annual Advent service taking place at Bodfari Church on the following Sunday evening.
