A CAR was destroyed during a fire in the early hours of the morning.
The incident happened on December 12 at 1.05am on Llysfaen Road, Old Colwyn.
A spokesperson from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: "One crew from Colwyn Bay used two sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reels and one thermal imaging camera to tackle the fire.
"There was 100 per cent fire damage to the vehicle."
The fire was thought to have been started deliberately.
One resident told how she saw blue and orange lights and smoke from several miles away.
