IT’S THAT most wonderful time of the year - the Stand-up at the seaside Christmas special!

Another fantastic comedy line-up is set for the final show of the year at The Station Inn in Colwyn Bay on December 21 at 8pm.

Joining the show’s resident MC Dave Rothnie are the returning and brilliant Spanish/Welsh comic Ignacio Lopez, the fantastic Chris Washington and the fresh faced upstart Josh Jones.

No stranger to Stand-up the Seaside, Lopez will follow up his side-splitting set at Conwy Castle over the summer with what is sure to be another riotous skewering of all things British.

The “Michael Buble of Comedy” is the perfect festive headliner!

Joining Lopez is Washington, one of the finest rising stars of the circuit who will appear in Colwyn Bay following his debut appearance on BBC’s Mock the Week and is certain to leave everyone in stitches with his deadpan delivery.

Add in to that the final monthly audience joke competition, and this show is not to be missed.

Rothnie said: “The Station has changed management, we’re onto our third Prime Minister in three years , but we’re here to stay and already have some fantastic acts lined up to perform in 2020.

“This is a Christmas cracker of a line-up, so for anyone who wants to bring their work colleagues to a Christmas do without having to talk to them, what could be better than a night of top-notch stand-up? Or maybe you’d rather be on your own and just fancy a laugh?

“Regardless I’d like to thank our fantastic funny, loyal audience for supporting live stand-up Comedy and wish everyone a merry Christmas!"

Tickets for the final festive funnies of Colwyn Bay’s comedy calendar are £12.50, with tables of four and more available. To book contact Mr Rothnie on dcrothnie@gmail.com.
