LITTLE ones (and older ones) can enjoy a Grotty Grotto over the festive period at the Welsh Mountain Zoo.
The Colwyn Bay attraction is running various Christmas themed activities and events.
As an antidote to a traditional grotto, Father Christmas is riding on his sleigh pulled by Red Legged Millipedes. Young grotto goers will be encouraged to handle Giant Land Snails and hissing cockroaches whilst learning more about the animals in the form of storytelling.
The Welsh Mountain Zoo is offering half price entry until January 5 2020.
The Grotty Grotto will run from December 19 until December 22.
Marcia Azevedo Moreira, Marketing and Sales Manager at the Welsh Mountain Zoo, said: "Christmas is most definitely our favourite time of the year here at the Zoo and we want to spread some festive cheer and enjoy the spirit of the season as early as possible.
"We’ve brought forward our half price entry to make sure everyone who wants to visit can share a special Christmas day with the team and the animals."
