MORE than £4,000 was raised during a school's Christmas fair.

The event, organised jointly by St Joseph's Catholic Primary School PTA and St Joseph's Church in Colwyn Bay, was held earlier this month.

John Mulley, parent governor, said: "We had hundreds of visitors and raised over £4,000, to be divided equally between the school and the church. The latter will use their half to help refurbish the Community Centre on Brackley Avenue.
