A Man aged 42 has been arrested on suspicion of burglary at a chemist on Conwy Road Colwyn Bay.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: “The incident happened at approximately 11.30pm last night (Sunday).
“Items including cash and charity boxes that were recovered are believed to have been stolen in the raid.”
Inspector Dafydd Curry said “ I am grateful to members of the public who reported the incident to the police swiftly, and for the equally rapid response of the local policing team, supported by the alliance dog unit, which resulted in an early arrest and recovery of stolen property.
"Burglary spreads misery across communities and we remain committed to tackling it. "
A spokesperson for Cohens chemist said: “We are not prepared to make any comment at all.”
