A MAN in his 70s sustained serious, life-threatening injuries after a crash in the Conwy Valley.
The incident happened about 2pm in Dolwyddelan, a village between Blaenau Ffestiniog and Betws-y-Coed, on Sunday, January 12.
The crash, which happened the A470 Roman Bridge, on involved a white Ford Fiesta.
The male driver was airlifted to hospital Stoke with serious injuries.
PC Mark Walker of the Roads Policing Unit said: “We are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
“We are also keen on speaking to anybody who may have seen the Fiesta being driven just prior to the collision, or to anybody who may have been travelling along the A470 around the time of the incident and who may have dash cam footage.”
An investigation in underway.
