A man once jailed for attempted murder was back behind bars after failing to comply with the terms of an eight months suspended sentence imposed for growing cannabis, allegedly possibly worth more than £15,000.
John Tharme, aged 47, of Esplanade, Penmaenmawr, had six months activated of the suspended sentence after being prosecuted by the probation service for failing to attend rehabilitation sessions.
Defence counsel Simon Killeen insisted at Caernarfon crown court: ”He does want to change.”
