DONATED items left outside the Llandudno RSPCA charity shop were set on fire by mindless vandals.
Two chairs and part of the shop front in Mostyn Avenue, Craig-y-Don were damaged. Mrs Sheila Francis, Manager of the RSPCA shop said: “There were two chairs outside the shop which were set alight. Damage was caused to plastic covering outside the shop and to the side of the shop front. The fire service was called out and the police came as well. We are all very shocked, it was just mindless vandalism. The chairs were left outside by someone who wanted to donate them to the shop.”
North Wales Fire Service said it sent one crew to the incident on Craig y Don just before 8.15am. “Three square metres of plastic was deliberately set on fire. The fire caused 10 square metres of smoke damage to the building.
