A NEW member of Llanrwst town council has been chosen at a by election.
Mostyn Jones, aged 27, conservative, elected with 58% of the vote.
He has lived with his family at Berth Ddu Farm, Llanrwst, all his life, and attended local schools.
A history graduate from Lancaster University he works working as a researcher and caseworker for Janet Finch-Saunders, AM for Aberconwy.
Mostyn said: βIt is an honour that so many people have shown their confidence in and elected me to be a town councillor. I have offered a five point plan for Llanrwst. This includes working to try and boost tourism, supporting free parking, undertaking a survey about traffic trouble on Pont Fawr, and cooperating with the community and relevant authorities on the problem of flooding.β
