A MEMBER of staff at a Homebase store in Flintshire has contracted coronavirus.
The staff member at the chain's Mold store has fallen ill with the virus, the company has confirmed.
A Homebase spokesperson said: "We sadly do have a team member from our Mold store who has become ill with coronavirus.
"The safety of our teams and customers is always our highest priority and we are following all government guidance on the measures to take in the event that a team member exhibits symptoms.”
Homebase has now decided to temporarily close all its stores, which came into effect from 6pm on Wednesday (March 25).
The company announced in January that its Mold store - the last in North Wales - will be closing permanently later this year.
