ALL lanes have reopened after a lorry crashed with bridge pillar on the A494 near Ewloe this morning, Thursday.
Traffic logs reported that one lane had to be closed with heavy traffic building due to an accident which saw a lorry collide with a bridge pillar and central reservation on A494 Northbound from A55 North Wales Expressway J34 (Ewloe, Ewloe Green) to B5125 (Ewloe).
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit posted on social media to say they were in attendance.
A spokesman said: “We're still at the scene of the collision involving a HGV on the A494 at Ewloe. One lane remains closed whilst we await recovery. Thanks for your patience.”

The vehicle had been recovered and the road fully reopened shortly before 12pm, according to a social media update from Traffic Wales.
In an update, the traffic log reads: "All lanes open and traffic returned to normal, recovery work completed and accident cleared."
No injuries have been confirmed yet and the Welsh Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
