TOY store giant Smyths Toys is coming to Chester.
The popular retailer is set to move into the unit recently vacated by Mothercare on the Greyhound Retail Park.
Smyths Toys, who have stores in Bromborough and Wirral, confirmed they are the new occupants in a planning application to Cheshire West and Chester Council.
Their proposal for new illuminated signage at the front and rear of the store has been approved by the authority.
A planning application put forward by agents Firstplan, on behalf of the retailer, said: "Owing to the vacation of the unit by a previous operator, Smyths Toys are now the confirmed tenant for unit 4, and as such it is necessary to replace the existing signage at the site."
All Smyths Toys stores are currently closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, although the retailer is still providing a delivery service.
