A FLINTSHIRE gym is handing out free Easter eggs for disadvantaged children and families of key workers.

Iron Asylum, in Mold, will be open on Thursday and Friday between 11am and 2pm to hand out 500 of the chocolate treats.

The gym said on Facebook: "We’re giving back to the local community in this tough time by giving away over 500 Easter eggs to any local families and kids in need

"We’ll be open Thursday and Friday from 11am to 2pm, simply call in and help yourselves to them.

The gym says any key workers who are self-isolating or working during these periods can message it on Facebook with their address and someone from the gym will provide contactless delivery.

The gym added: "Remember to stick to the social guidelines please, one person in at a time, hand santizer is provided and carrier bags - if queuing please keep the two meters apart

"All of us a Iron Asylum hope everyone is listening to the rules and staying safe and healthy, we’ll be back open before we know it and Happy Easter to everyone."
