SERVICES are beginning to come back online for Conwy residents.

As of Friday, June 5 Conwy County Borough Council is opening up bookings for homeowners to clear waste build up throughout lock down at its recycling centres in Mochdre and Abergele.

A spokesperson for the council said: "You can now book an appointment to visit our Household Recycling Centres. We've made slots available for four weeks.

"Each household is allowed up to three visits to the sites per calendar month, to make sure that everyone who wants to use the centres can get an appointment.

"We should still only make essential journeys. Before you book an appointment, ask if you could you use our usual kerbside collections, green waste collection or bulky waste collection instead?"

The Council has also reopened slipways in Llanfairfechan, Penmaenmawr, the Beacons in Conwy, Llandudno's North Shore, Rhos-on-Sea and Porth Eirias at Colwyn Bay for use during daily exercise within five miles.

The spokesperson added:

"Please make sure that you keep two metre social distance from anyone you don’t live with."

Book a recycling centre slot at the 'Recycling and Waste' page on conwy.gov.uk.
