A 54-year-old man was arrested after he was confronted by a group of 'paedophile hunters'.
In a Facebook live video, the group (named 'The Ghosts') from Coventry arrived at a petrol station in Newtown to confront the man on Sunday evening (May 31) at around 9.30pm.
The group claimed the man had apparently been messaging a 14-year-old child for three weeks.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: "A 54-year-old man from Newtown has been arrested on suspicion of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
"He has been released on conditional bail pending further police enquiries.”
