FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a chimney blaze in Coedpoeth.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call just after 9.30pm on Tuesday reporting the incident, at a property in Park Road.
One crew and an aerial ladder platform attended the scene and were dealing with the incident until after midnight.
A spokesman for the fire service said the damage was confined to the chimney and the incident had been caused by an accumulation of soot due to a bird's nest.
