THE A55 heading East has reopened near Colwyn Bay.
Vehicles involved in a crash at about 3.20pm were being removed about an hour later near junction 21.
Lane 1 eastbound has now been reopened.
North Wales Police issued an initial warning via Twitter at 3.23pm, following a roads traffic collision on the road heading East.
It is understood that the emergency services joined traffic officers at the scene.
