A FORMER jewellery shop will once again be the home of glitz and glamour in Llandudno.

For the remainder of the summer, Penrhyn Bay fashion social enterprise Prom Ally will operate out of the vacant former H Samuel on Mostyn Street, which shut suddenly in September.

The charity - which was founded by Ally Elouise to provide young people from low income families formal wear for their school proms - is launching a temporary, ‘pop-up’ shop to sell off old stock and raise vital funds.

Miss Elouise, aged 25, said: “I will be selling off my old and used stock that has been in our collection for a few years to raise much needed funds.

"Prom Ally has suffered immensely due to Covid and the lockdown. Proms were cancelled and so were all of my fundraising events and challenges for the year.

"I am so excited to open this pop up shop. We have an excess of old stock and think that selling some of it could really help us ensure we can keep going ready for next years proms season."
