FIREFIGHTERS were called out to deal with blazes involving a flat and a garage in Conwy.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed a call was received at about 7.10pm on Saturday reporting a blaze at a flat in West Promenade, Colwyn Bay.
Two crews attended the scene and used two sets of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to tackle the flames.
A spokesman for the service confirmed there were no casualties and the incident resulted in five square metres of damage to flooring.
The cause was unknown.
Just after 8pm, a call came in reporting a detached garage blaze in Penmaenmawr High Street.
Firefighters attended the scene and used one set of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.
A spokesman said it was later confirmed the incident had involved a wooden shed - and the property was destroyed by fire.
